The Fear You Have…

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I was talking to a friend and coaching client today about opportunities. There are so many of them out there, yet we do not seem to take advantage of them? Why is that? We spoke about a lot of opportunities but the common theme was that he was afraid he would lose something if he moved forward.

So I have something for all of you today that I would like to encourage you to think about and honestly answer. So here it goes…

Are you afraid to fail? or

Are you afraid to be yourself and try because of what others may think of you? or

Are you afraid to try because deep down you may become successful beyond your wildest dreams?

Here is a Four Letter Word for You!

Posted by: | Comments (0)

It is called WORK. The good old fashioned picking yourself up, strapping on your boots, leaving the cave and doing WORK! Our economy is changing. The way things have been done in the past will not be how they will be done in the future. The thought of job security is a fleeting thought; yet we still have one thing we can do, and that is WORK.

Being born does not give you the right to a great job, security, and handouts. Being born gives you the right to make choice and decisions that will shape the world you live in. If you want a different tomorrow, make different choices today. Stop blaming other people for your problems and start working on solutions to help yourself.

Over 50% of our workforce will be self employed in the next 5 years. Is that a bad thing? Not at all. Going out and working for your food, life, and family should give you a great sense of pride in your life. I love the small business owner. The people who put it all on the line for a hope of a better tomorrow. They pour blood, sweat, and tears into making thier way in this world and they do that by prividing goods and services that enhamce the lives of other people.

The changing ladnscape of America wll bring us back to a time when familes worked and played together. Where life was a process of hard work and creating lasting memories. I want to de a part of that and I want you to be a part of that as well.

But it takes a decision on your part. that decision is to go out a WORK to make it a better place for us all. And if you need some freash ideas, listen to The Small Business Success Hour.

Now go out and make it a great day with that four letter word…work.
